We want to repot a Geranium from a roman style clay pot but because of its shape we cant get it out! (without breaking the pot)
Any idea please?

Soak it well lots of water you may be able to get it out then

You'll probably need to use a powerful water jet from a hose pipe to wash out the soil, even after a good soak.Deniz1 wrote:Soak it well lots of water you may be able to get it out then
I had the same problem, and no matter what I tried the darned thing wouldn't come out!
I ended up cutting the pot in two with an angle grinder, and using the two halves 'artistically'

Hi Chris,
They are pretty hardy things that strike from cuttings quite easily so I suggest that you take a good few cuttings just for insurance and then let the pot dry out more than you would normally. You should then be able to cut around from the top with a long bladed knife, bread knife would be ideal and when you've wriggled it out re pot and give it a good soak.
