Re: Booking.com
If you try to book a holiday with them there is a note at the top of the page, if you open it this is what it says.
Please note that there may be restrictions when crossing the border between Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus. Travellers are expected to enter and exit the Republic of Cyprus only at Larnaca and Paphos airports and at the seaports of Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. According to the US Department of State, the northern part of Cyprus, administered by Turkish Cypriots, proclaimed itself the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” (“TRNC”) in 1983. The Republic of Cyprus does not consider entry at Ercan Airport in the north to be a “legal” entrance into Cyprus. Please consult your government’s travel advisory for further information.
This location may pose an increased risk to guests’ and local communities’ human rights. To make an informed decision about your stay, please review any travel guidelines to this area provided by your government.
