Hi, is it just us or does the internet connection slow down really badly from late afternoon at the moment?

News Id: 302 2016/02/24 Trouble logging in?

We are being attacked by malicious software at the moment.

If you are getting an error when trying to log in, it is related to the temporary measures we have taken to address the issue and ensure stability of service now and in the future.
We are working on that problem with full force and are sorry about the inconvenience
MM were also hit by attacks which took about 10 mins to block.

Trying to watch football through NTV is a waste of time, again, buffering every few seconds. Yet we are able to watch it through our android box, using Multimax, and it's perfect, so the problem is definitely with NTV.

NTV (or the route it's taking ?) seems to be a constant problem for MultiMax and it's not doing their reputation much good it needs to be sorted out completely changed or an alternative service offered to bring it back into line. With the pound dropping like a brick the MultiMax package may not look value for money in the weeks to come.

My multimax connection Mbps speeds range from 1.9 to 19.7 Mbps during the off peak hours within a 5/10 minutes of checking the speed. Watching NTV via the smart TV or films / live tv on the Android box both buffer or time out.
During peak periods the signal jumps up and down, seriously irritating when trying to watch something of interest. This has been such a point of frustration it's not worth paying the premium price for multimax!!

I was having problems watching the game last night.
Switched over to my Android STB

Watched the game via Kodi, Awesome Streams (New Kodi Addon)
https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-instal ... eams-kodi/
No problems

If you missed any games, you can watch full matches on demand
via the Castaway addon.
https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how- ... away-kodi/
Fast forward/rewind/pause functions.

If you check out KODI, it will tell you what systems it's available for...
Windows, Android etc.

It's all out there, all you need to do, is find it

exend are much better today than they were in years gone by. I stuck with them and have no regrets. Don't hear any complaints about them on here do you? However I am not trying to download all day long like some appear to do!

I often wonder if much of the problem is people leaving un-used tech turned on all the time.

If you use an android box for example and don't turn it off, it will keep streaming even though the TV maybe off.

iPads and mobiles and all the apps can be updating weekly or more, as can PC auto updates.

Also, if you torrent downloads, remember, unless you stop it, everything you download becomes a seed for other to take from, so you can then be uploading too behind the scenes. This can be huge amounts of data over a day.

Worth checking what you may be actually using.
The wife keeps complaining I never listen to a word she says ............. or something like that.

No problems at all for this last week. However I thought we had been assured its not usually speed which is the culprit but available bandwidth?
