I reproduce a note that I have sent to Kemil at KMR, for the information ofn others who maybe removing between UK and Cyprus, in the hope that it will assist in some small way.

Hi Kamil,
As I promised a report on our experience with your company. We have now only got about 10 boxes left to open, so although we are not quite finished yet, I feel that I can now speak with certainty about your service to us.
Firstly, the overall service, starting with Mustafa coming to the house to assess the work involved. He is a personable young man and represents your company as an asset. He measured virtually everything and was, I think, about right in his estimate. After we accepted your quote, he and his two helpers, came to the house on several occasions to pack and ship to your depot. Mustafa bent over backwards to please and corrected a few slight mistakes along the way. He even arranged to collect the last few items after we had left, so we could sleep in our own bed right up to our departure.
At that point we became more involved with yourself. You stored our belongings at your depot until we were able to advise you to forward them by container. You kept us informed as to the container's location and the name of the vessel it was traveling on and gave an estimated date of arrival at Felixtowe. This transpired to be a day out, which was no problem to us and then the container was delayed by a week or so by UK Customs. Having cleared Customs you gave us a choice of delivery dates and we were able to arrange the unloading when the container arrived. I have to comment and say that while the goods were stored at your depot, they were subjected to a lot of dust and sand, which is a small point.
Having received our goods, we noted several small things that were not so good. In particular a small glass Dartington vase was broken but there were no broken bits in the wrapping, therefore it must have been broken by the packer. In another instance an expensive Irish glass, part of a set of 6, did not appear at all. Other items showed small signs of mishandling but very few breakages. My wife was upset with the way her clothes were folded and put in black refuse sacks, on the outward journey some 15 years ago they were put in flat boxes which was much better. Has to be said that overall you did very well. As a Cypriot business rather than a UK business, the results were excellent. What really impressed me was that 15 years ago when we came to Cyprus, the removal cost was £6500 and your price 15 years later was £5500, so that wa a great surprise.
To summarize Kami, overall we were pleased with your service and the small problems, did not take away that satisfaction and if asked, I would recommend your company to others. We wish you and your brother well for the future.
Best regards from Mike
