Looking for an Event Organizer / Planner in Catalkoy

Hi to all Kibkom members,

We are a public entertainment venue, an open air ice rink located in Catalkoy (opened in July 2016), popular mainly among expats and the British community, and we are looking for a motivated event organizer, who has an interest in organizing public events (evenings) such as birthdays, public holidays, events for family and kids. Following are the examples:

- Organized events on Fridays (event calendar and schedule)
- Holidays like Halloween, Christmas and New Year etc
- School holiday weeks / End of December weeks (Christmas before and after)
- Birthdays, group (15+ people) events

Job activities include occasional help on organized event days with holiday arrangements and special set-ups, to be our communication point with party planners, possibly to advertise and distribute the word-of-mouth for our location as one of a kind in NC, as well as on forums and community - British markets, auctions and shops.

Requirements: apart from described duties above, as British / or Cypriot, you have contacts to expat and local community, you know what holidays and events British community celebrates (and how they organize it), main language required is English.

Work is part-time, 1 to 2 times a week or on occasion, schedule will be pre-organized and you will know in advance when you are in charge; we are looking for someone who will be engaged in this type of work long-term, if you are an expat and staying long on the island (no student inquiries please!). Payment varies upon event size / time / engagement and is negotiable.
