Free Swimming Pool Use
Looking for a few places West of Kyrenia for a relaxing pool to sit next around to enjoy the sunshine and have a few drinks and lunch. Do you have any suggestions please

Silver Rocks is very popular - almost two popular, but the staff are very attentive, the food prices are good and the setting is superb. Pool not too big, but if it is just for dipping as opposed to Olympic swimming, then it is great. There is also the huge sea available down a few steps!

"There is also the huge sea available down a few steps" - I agree Marion:
A couple of weeks ago we went to Ada Beach Hotel ... and around the swimming pool it was virtually all yabancis ... while the locals seemed to prefer the beach. Surely one of the main reasons we come here is because of the beaches - if you wanted to go to the swimming pool you could just stay in England! And although I have no aversion to swimming pools it is very unlikely that the pool water is healthier than the sea :

I'm sure most pools here, including the one at Ada Beach, are well maintained ... but I would prefer to bet on the sea water being safer.

That's because they're tight, and don't want to spend any money at the bariancrumpy wrote: ... while the locals seemed to prefer the beach....

Think Park Lane is closed - pool looked very nasty last time I went past on the way to Perova and no signs of life.

Silver Rocks pool I think is salt water, or at least used to be. Very pleasant and very friendly. Also the food is very good even for snacks.

I called in 5 minutes ago, and the pool was clean and sparkling, Reception was open, and the place was entirely unpolluted by customers

Green Heights Park in Yeseltepe has a beautiful large pool. I am not sure if there is a charge but think that it is free if you buy drinks. Lovely gardens as well.

Green Heights is lovely, but no dogs. Now I appreciate that is a bonus for many people,l but it means a no no for me.Lovely setting and a good cup of coffee.
