Has anyone got a MacBook Pro charger with unique magnetic connector, or any idea where I can get one in the North?

A wee tip to extend the life of Apple cables is to wind a spring from a pen at both ends of the cable. I've not long done it to the cable on mine, after having a broken cable not so long ago. Luckily I had a bought a spare back from the UK with me.

Thanks for the info Kayc. I tried to phone the Mac shop in girne but no reply called in today but shop no longer on Main Street on the left past Murphy. I will try shop in Dereboyu next. Thanks I live in hope.

Super. Last year I was seeking the same cable. I know the struggle all too well. I'm quite certain the store in Dereboyu has the exact cable you'll need, I was just in the store last week.

There's also a shop in the Airport Mall which sells Apple products, but no idea if they sell the cables. Worth a try if you get stuck.
