A handy little free media player for both Windows and Mac, which casts to Apple TV and Chromecast for viewing on your TV. It also apparently plays Acestreams, torrents without downloading, and URL's directly to your computer/Apple TV or Chromecast.

Only found it a few days ago, when I was looking for something to cast video from Windows laptop to Apple TV, as had problems with my Mac, which luckily now have sorted. I haven't tried Acestreams (apparently this is popular for sports) or torrents. It cast video from laptop to Apple TV easily. I also tried with a YouTube video, took a minute or so to load, but played perfectly.
The controls are very basic, play and pause, but you can fast forward or rewind using the slider on the bar.
