Help please. i pad problem.
I suspect I have been hacked through an e mail account.
Tried and failed to get Apple support on the lap top.
Yesterday a message has appeared on my i pad saying it needs activating as the owner has linked find phone for their i phone to my Apple account.
I don't own one and have not done any linking.
Meanwhile the i pad is locked unless I activate it with my Apple ID and password. I am not prepared to do that unless I can talk to Apple.
Any help or suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks. I have been trying to contact apple support from my lap top as I can't use the i pad but I keep getting a message that says we will be back shortly. Very frustrated.
How did you contact them?

As the find my iPhone app covers your iPad as well as iPhone are you sure it’s not just your own iPad that’s linked? I think too you can log into your iCloud account on any computer or laptop and use find my iPhone to see if it’s just your own device

You're lucky that you didn't have to escalate it to a grandson (or granddaughter)!!
