No internet Ozankoy (Multimax)
Anyone else lost internet this afternoon?. I've tried calling but can't get through!

I usually find that the fact that I can't get through on the 'phone is due to everyone else ringing at the same time - which is a dead giveaway that there's a general problem! - althıugh I don't bother ringing until I've completed the usual power-cycling routine.
As it happened, it was about 15 minutes before I power-cycled all of the equipment, so by the time it had all booted back up, normal service had been resumed, and I patted myself on the back for fixing the fault, before I saw the text from MMX

Oh well!

As there appears to be no 'like' button anymore I will just say that I agree with what Keith has said. If you can't get through it is no doubt because countless others are trying to which is a sure sign that there is a problem. I also don't think the advice of turning it all off and waiting for 20 - 30 seconds before re-booting the router is taken seriously enough by many. It does actually work quite often and I do it from time to time if the speed drops and usually the speed improves on re start.
From time to time we can expect a break in the service be it from our providers or the system that they all use from the mainland. On the very odd occasion I have had to contact MM I have found them to be very helpful and the problem resolved quickly.

I actually asked because I wanted to be sure that it wasn't just me. The last couple of times that I have lost connection I waited before calling and when I eventually did it turned out to be a fault with my Internet. Prior to trying to call I always reboot to ensure that I have done anything. Because it was the weekend I wanted to find out ASAP in case I had to wait for an engineer.
