I wonder if any Government ministers will interrupt their 81 DAY holiday to try to resolve this situation, what a ridiculous state of affairs !

Lovely news indeed! But is this to be never ending, non stop, never have electricity under the strike is over - kind of strike?

Just read on another board that the union for Kibtek are denying that this information is true.

Apparently, a comment was made on facebook and picked up by the media who then announced it.

A pox on the lot of them. They must be off their rockers if they think they're going to achieve anything by striking in the middle of summer. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot.

I thought the point was doing it in mid summer. In winter one can keep warm using gas or solid fuel or just wrapped in blankets with a hot water bottle, and cook on a picnic stove, open fire or charcoal barbecue.

There is no way of getting cool (short of the sea which not everyone has easy access to) once pools, friges and water supply hve been discontinued from lack of electicity and supplies of diesel etc run out. Also it has more impact on the tourist trade with consequent damage to the already fragile economy.

Post 11 of 13, Mel - I should have said, they haven't got a leg to stand on, shouldn't I?
