Silver Rocks
I thought Silver Rocks was closing 1st Dec 2012 but just found out next Sunday 18th Nov 2012 will be last day until March of next year. They deserve a good rest, I have enjoyed summer months there. Thank you Ibo, Savas and all the staff.

Yes, I built it in 1987 and was called Rita on the Rocks. I took a lease out on the land for 10 years, then as I was getting on did not want to renew the lease. Great times and lovely to see so many of my old customers still using it. Loved every minute of it. Rita

Re: Silver Rocks
I believe that Rita on the Rocks was miles away form anything An old friend of mine Father Brian that Rita knew used to tell me of it, but I never ahd time to get out that far as I was living in the south and allowed over for a few hours only. The place is now almost TOO popular! Have introduced a lot of people to the place (as indeed have many others_) and I have never heard of anyone being disappointed.
But thanks for the info that it is closing as of next week. I would probably have gone up there and got quite angry with myself to find it closed. So thanks again for posting the info.
Bet there will be a lot of disappointed people that they can't go there for Christmas.

My mum and her friend use to come out here 2 or 3 times a year and used to go to Rita on the rocks . But it too long ago and i dont suppose any one would remember them now . Their names were Maureen and Barbara and they stayed at Celebrity hotel .
