Anybody know what the trouble / riot is at the Lefkosa border today ? My wife's hairdresser has shown her an email video of trouble at the border.

China going into Taiwan so maybe the ROC wants the whole of Cyprus; nothing like a good war to cover-up the inadequacies of their respective leaders!!

If direct flights and cheaper ticket prices came about most people wouldnt want to cross any way. Im sure we can all survive without Alpha Mega and Ikea.

Deniz1, couldn't agree more, nearly as ridiculous of the thousands that queued up for the opening of Ikea in UK, just to buy a flat pack coffee table etc. What a pathetic bunch.

Those of us who lived here before the borders opened survived and we had a much more limited amount of items to chose from then.
