PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES BY WEARING A MASK

As the number of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases has recently increased in our country as well as all around the world, reconsidering some individual health measures has gained importance once again.

We invite everyone to avoid complacency to act with a sense of responsibility and to abide by the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and to maintain social distancing for our health and safety.

We remind you once again that wearing a mask when leaving your residence is a legal obligation and that those who violate the conditions will be subject to legal prosecution.

This has never changed since it was brought in. It is still the law that you have to wear a mask when you are outside your home address. The fact that most ignore it in the street and shops is neither here or there. Doesn't say anything about wearing it over your nose let alone your mouth though!
