Candle wicks

Lots of candle remains, does anyone know where I can get candle wick? Apparently ordinary string burns through too quickly, so i am not sure what I can use instead. ALSO anyone know where I can get scented drawer lining paper?

Can't help you with your "Wicks" problem but if you sprinkle lavender under your drawer lining paper it works a treat! It's also free because it grows wild all over the place! My mum used to make lavender bags out of old tights and fill them (not whole leg of course) with lavender and just drop them into drawers, that saved having to hoover out the loose bits every few months!

Sammydavis, I looked everywhere for candle wicks last year and in the end resorted to bringing from UK

Thank you all. Good idea re lavendar. Michelle surely you don't mean candles!!! Did you mean candle wicks? There are huge numbers of candles everywhere especially Poundland and China Bazaar etc.
