Do you speak Turkish? Have a skill/qualification that a local doesn't have? The wages in NC are very low and jobs few. What research have you been able to do and why NC?

I don’t speak the language but am learning. I’m a qualified hairdresser English speaking. I have visited many times and enjoy the island very much.

Wayne bonner,
Before doing anything you need to check with the relevant authority that covers hairdressers if that’s what you want to do.
A number of years ago a popular hairdresser was deported for not, I believe having the correct qualifications for the TRNC.
Also I have my haircut for about £3.00. So if you need to support a family you will have your work cut out (no pun intended)
Don’t forget you need a reasonable income to survive here.
If you don’t have any other income, ie pension you will struggle.
