Curfew?
We are due to travel out on Sunday arriving at 1.30 am. I believe that there is currently a curfew (just remembered). Does this mean that we cannot drive from the airport to our destination in the Karpas until after 5.00 am. If so may have to change our flight.
Thanks in anticipation

Re: Curfew?
I'd ask a local taxi firm if the rule applies to arrivals at Ercan.

Re: Curfew?
Thank you very much for your help. I have called a local taxi firm and been told that as we are coming from outside the country the curfew will not apply to us

Unless you get stopped by a policeman in a bad mood.

Re: Curfew?
Many people have travelled to and from the airport during the curfew and I have not seen one report of anyone being stopped either in the news or social media.

Re: Curfew?
Travelled in from Paphos 5 weeks ago at night all the way north on the South police Road blocks with people being stopped in cars arrested and taken away in police vehicles the taxi driver found it highly amusing seemed to keep him going.
When we crossed similar situation in Lefkosa he told us always same he is exempt because he is involved in tourist transfers which allowd him to get home after dropping us off.
