I am sure that they will be cutting off ordinary punters if they fail to pay their bills on time, or have outstanding debt from previous bills over a certain amount.

Re: Kibtek disconnection
We were cut off once and thought it was a power cut. When we found that our bank had not paid Kibtek in time, off went the power. This was a Sunday so we went down to one of their machines and paid in 200 notes. Power came back a couple of hours later. There was absolutely no warning or threats.

I had the same experience twice BB, due to bank not paying. Thought I had a power cut all day until I mentioned to a neighbour. So was a quick zip along to the nearest bank in Esentepe to pay before they closed on a Friday afternoon. That was before online payments were made available. Power was back on when I got back home to Tatlisu.
Not had a problem since paying online, and there are a few methods through website, app or Paypoint. I'd much rather have control myself.
