Blood donations for John Hurst needed

My neighbour had a bad fall at the weekend and is undergoing hip surgery at Lefkosa state hospital tomorrow morning. He needs 2 units of A+, O+ or O- donated at either Girne state hospital tomorrow morning or at Lefkosa state hospital. His name is John Hurst, please tell them the donation is on his behalf. Donors should be under 61, taking no medication and have eaten before giving blood.

It always amazes me why TRNC sets this low bar for donating blood.
