Licence Class for Quad Bike

Does anyone know without a trip to the Police station, what letter in the class field on your licence do you need to ride a quad bike legally?

Maybe ask at a driving school. They could probably tell you

Used to be but I gather there are different categories for the size of bikes


A-Bus/Coach

B-Lorry

C-24 seat Mini Bus

D-Salon Car

E-Tractor/farm work vehicle

F-Caterpillar tread vehicle

G-Excavator

H-Motorbike and side car

I- 3 wheel motorbike

J-Motorbike

K- JCB
